We had an absolute blast hosting Hannah’s (one of our black belts) hen do this afternoon. We had an absolute ball, there were a lot of laughs, games (that got a tad competitive) and team building. Enjoy the rest of the evening I hope you have an awesome time!

Why do I think TKD is awesome for kids? 👇🏻 It works on all the elements of fitness strength, agility, balance and speed, a lot of the time we do this via play or games so it is always fun (plus it means we work on listening as well at the same time) We make friends! There are loads kids in the club that have been friends for years while they have been at the club. In class kids work together and help one another progress through the grades. It’s suitable for all ages! We have classes for ages 2+ , in the younger classes it’s very much TKD through play and as we move through the age groups we add in more TKD content We listen and respect one another, this is a pretty important rule in the club, and it’s not just for the kids. As instructors we always make sure we listen to our students and honestly they have great ideas! There is something for everyone, in TKD you can focus on grades, sport TKD, traditional or if you just like the classes for keeping fit and active that’s cool too! I am pretty biased but I think TKD is pretty awesome!

(Re) Introduction time! I have had a few new followers lately so I thought I would re introduce myself here. I’m Laura 4th Dan black belt and head instructor here at Titan TKD I started teaching around 2006 and I started Titan in 2008. We have moved through a few different venues and we have now settled here in Enterprise Park in our full time venue. I am also a qualified sports therapist, personal trainer, pre and postnatal strength coach and weight lifting coach. Alongside Titan I ran a fitness studio in the West End of the city but after having my little one in 2022 I decided to focus on running my TKD business. Taekwondo has brought me some amazing experiences and opportunities, I represented Scotland at a number of events including the Commonwealth championships and European championships. I was also lucky to work at the 2012 Olympics and 2016 Commonwealth Games. Running a full time centre was always my main goal and last year was definitely a settling in process. This year I have been working on growing the schedule to include new classes that will benefit our members like our strength class and day time pre school sessions. After the summer break I will be adding some new classes including a weekend family session and working in some more fitness classes as I have really enjoyed leading them again (I would love to restart my pre and postnatal classes again so watch this space) I always say I am really lucky to have a job that I love so if you are a part of Team Titan thanks for being part of the community and if you want to see what we are about just drop me a message 💪🏻

Pre school class today at 10am Our pre school class for ages 2-4 runs every week at 10am. Our gym is right in the middle of the building so it’s nice and cool is this stunning warm weather. You can drop in and PAYG or you can pay monthly it’s up to you. First class is always free so just DM to book in.
