We had a brilliant Saturday this weekend, 6 classes and 3 gradings we opened at 9 and didn’t stop until we closed at 4.30. Titan started in 2008(ish?!) With one class a week on a Saturday morning in the smallest room in Langside halls and has grown to a full time centre with a fabulous community. The timetable will continue to adapt and grow with time , so far this year we have added a new strength class and day time pre school session. I will be aiming to add a Saturday morning family session after the summer break but if there are any other classes you would like to see at the club just drop a message or comment 👇🏻 Well done to all the new grades in the class and star performers will be announced this week!

One of my favourite things about my job is finding creative ways of developing fitness to make classes engaging and fun for students while developing skills like teamwork and communication. The equipment corner is full of all sorts of things like balloons, swimming pool noodles, foam blocks and frisbees to name a few things. Developing aspects of fitness like strength, agility and flexibility benefits TKD performance and it’s even better when it’s fun!

Rather unexpectedly we had some lovely artwork dropped in by a few students over the past few weeks! If you have been in the gym in the past few months you will also have noticed one of our very talented parents has also created some awesome artwork on our walls. We will be hosting a summer event/party before the schools breakup and it gote thinking that this would be a great opportunity for everyone to get involved in a community piece, after all it’s people at Titan who make the team! Tidying up after a brilliant Saturday! Awesome classes today, we were busy from start to finish, we welcomed in new members to the club and unwrapped some new pads and shields (which went down very well) We will be back on Tuesday evening with the sparring session, have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine ☀️

All classes are back on tomorrow! We have had a lovely family break this week which was very much needed and we are ready to get back to work tomorrow. Remember we also have our Easter camp running on Monday from 9-3 (morning and afternoon sessions are available) and a daytime sparring class at 1pm on Tuesday. There will be no evening sparring session but all other classes are on as normal Hope you have all had a fab Easter break so far!
