Easter camp! We have had a busy week this week with our first Easter camps in our new centre. We had a great time building forts, playing games, crafting and of course lots of taekwondo. Classes are on tomorrow as usual and we have heard that the Easter Bunny might have left a few wee treats for students to find…..🐰

April focus This month we are working on all things agility and movement. We will be including lots of games that will have jumping, catching and reacting. I love this type of training, it’s super fun and engaging, I always update and refresh classes so they are new and challenging. Just a reminder there are no classes on Tuesday and Wednesday this week as we take a small break and enjoy the sunshine. All other classes are on as normal and don’t forget we have our holiday camps running next week on Monday and Tuesday.

We have a (good) problem! Our 5pm Thursday beginners session is nearly at capacity so it’s probably time we add another class into the mid week schedule. We are going to run another beginners class on a Wednesday, what times would work best?

Can we ask a wee favour? Every now and again I ask for a wee favour from our members. Now we are settling in I’m starting to do some work on our website again. And something that I haven’t asked in a while is if you are a member of our club and love what we do if you wouldn’t mind doing a wee Google review. It makes a big difference to who can see our website and it’s the primary way that we get new members. There is a QR code in the gym with the link to leave a Google review or you can find the link in our stories. Thank you 💪🏻

Maybe my favourite class of the week! I love teaching all my classes but maybe my favourite one is the Tiny Tots class for our 2+ group. My little one joins in this class and I love starting off my Saturdays with this session. I often get asked what we do in a Tiny Tots class. This class is very much an introduction to TKD through play, we practice basic commands (the commands for start and stop are particularly fun) and we include basic blocks and kicks. There are always different obstacles and activities to work on the fundamentals of movement like balance and agility. This is a very relaxed session where parents join in as well. For this class there are monthly and drop in payments available but the first session is always free. The link to book in is in the stories
